Whether you're planning the biggest day of your life or throwing the party of the year , The Bloom Barn designs florals for every kind of beautiful moment. Weddings get a lot of the spotlight, and we love them. But we show up just as hard for rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, birthday celebrations, corporate events, and everything in between.

The Bloom Barn Process
Here's exactly what it looks like to work with us — from that first message to the moment you walk into your venue and see everything come together.
01 — Reach Out Fill out our contact form and tell us about your event. Your date, your venue, your vision, your vibe. The more you share the better… but even if you're just starting to figure it out, reach out anyway. That's what the consultation is for.
02 — Consultation All weddings begin with an in-person consultation. This meeting is usually about an hour to an hour and a half. We'll sit down, look through your inspiration photos, talk through colors and feelings and details, and get a real sense of what your day looks like in your head. Some events can be coordinated by phone or email depending on the scope. We'll let you know what makes sense for your specific event.
03 — Custom Proposal & Inspiration Board After our consultation, Hannah will carefully consider everything you've shared and put together a fully itemized custom proposal, plus an inspiration board so you can see the vision taking shape visually. Two complimentary revisions are included so we can fine-tune until every detail feels exactly right.
04 — Design & Details Once you're ready to move forward, a 50% deposit secures your date and the real fun begins. We'll start dialing in the specific colors, blooms, and designs that create the overall feel you're after. We'll also work through the finer details — vases, vessels, stands, candles, and any special pieces you want incorporated. We have a solid inventory to work from, can source specific vessels for you to keep, or we can design around pieces that are already meaningful to you.
05 — Final Walkthrough About four to six weeks before your event, we'll meet one more time to review every detail: final head counts, coordination with your planner and other vendors, and a floral mock-up if applicable. This is where everything gets locked in so your wedding day has zero surprises.
06 — Your Day This is the part where you hand it all over and just enjoy being the bride. Hannah and her team will personally install every floral and décor item, build any on-site installations, and make sure everything looks exactly the way we planned. In some cases, individual arrangements and vessels can be purchased for guests to take home and keep enjoying after the day is over.

Bridal & Bridesmaids Bouquets Your bouquet is the one floral piece you'll hold all day, photograph from every angle, and look back at for the rest of your life. We design bridal bouquets that feel lush, textural, and completely personal — and bridesmaids bouquets that complement without competing.
Boutonnieres & Corsages The details matter. Every boutonniere and corsage is designed to coordinate beautifully with your overall floral palette — thoughtfully made, never just an afterthought.
Ceremony Arch & Altar Florals The arch is the backdrop for the most photographed moment of your wedding day. We design ceremony florals that are full, dramatic, and exactly what you've been picturing — whether that's soft and romantic, bold and garden-style, or wild and beautifully undone.
Reception Centerpieces Your reception is where your guests spend most of their time — and your centerpieces set the entire tone of the room. We design pieces that feel cohesive, intentional, and like they've always belonged in that space.
Full Venue Installs For the couple who wants their entire venue transformed — we do that. From entry arrangements to head table florals to sweetheart table designs and beyond, we'll work with you to create a full floral experience your guests will never forget.
FAQs
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible, especially for spring and fall dates, which book up fast in Central Louisiana. Most couples book 6 to 12 months out. That said, always reach out even if your date feels soon. We'll check availability and be honest with you about what's possible.
Do you travel for weddings outside Alexandria?
Yes, we travel throughout Central Louisiana for weddings and events. Reach out to discuss travel for locations farther out.
Can you work within my budget?
Yes. Share your budget honestly during your consultation and we'll tell you exactly what we can create within it. There's no such thing as a bad budget — just different designs. We'd rather work with what you have than have you walk away without the flowers your day deserves.
Can you coordinate with my other vendors?
Absolutely. We're happy to connect with your venue coordinator, photographer, or planner to make sure everything flows seamlessly on your wedding day.
Do you offer payment plans?
Reach out and we'll walk you through our booking and payment process during your consultation. We want the whole experience to feel easy and stress-free from start to finish.
What if I don't know what I want yet?
That is completely okay. Bring your Pinterest board, your venue photos, your dress inspiration — anything that gives us a feel for your style. We'll help you find your floral vision together. That's part of what we love about this work.
